How often will I be reviewed by my Toothfairy dentist?

The exact number of reviews depends on your treatment duration. The more aligners you need – the longer your treatment will last. The vast majority of our treatment typically lasts 3-6 months.
At the moment, the normal industry standard is for patients to attend a physical clinic where a dentist reviews them every 4-6 weeks. However by using Toothfairy’s award winning, regulated smart tech we are able to cut out these costly, time consuming in clinic reviews for you.
Do not worry! You will still be reviewed regularly by a UK-registered dentist but this is all done using our award winning app – available on both the Apple and Google stores.

What does this mean for Toothfairy Patients compared to other aligner systems?

This means reduced travel costs, less time sitting in crowded clinic waiting rooms and more time to focus on straightening your teeth.
If there are any issues with treatment or you require further treatment, we will not hesitate to book you into our clinic. Our award winning application allows for up to date medical histories to be taken, secure clinical notes written up and prescriptions to be issued to your local pharmacy.

Is the app free for me if I undergo braces?

Yes – there are no charges for the consultations with your supervising dentist. Unlike one off emergencies appointments we offer in the app – for braces reviews there is no charge. You also have access to our search a dental practice feature and free oral health videos. There are no charges or need to sign up to access the search for a practice or view an oral health video feature.

What makes Toothfairy different?

Our technology is the first of its kind in the dental field. We are fully health regulated and ensure all dentists treating you are licensed dentists. We are so efficient that we can have competitive prices whilst ensuring you do not receive low quality treatment.
